Martijn Husiman, Daniel Biltereyst & Stijn Joye
Martijn Huisman acquired a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in Media & Journalism at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is a PhD candidate at the Health, Media & Society research centre within the Department of Communication Sciences of Ghent University in Belgium. Specialized in the fields of Health, Media & Communication and skilled in patient and consumer research, Martijn works on an audience research project around health-related information behaviour of young and senior elderly.
Daniel Biltereyst is Professor in Media Studies at the Department of Communication Sciences of Ghent University, Belgium, in addition to being Director of the Centre for Cinema and Media Studies.
Stijn Joye is an Associate Professor at the Department of Communication Sciences, Ghent University, Belgium. His research interests are in the field of international communication with a focus on mediated suffering.
