Ludi Price & Lyn Robinson
Ludi Price graduated with a Honours BA from SOAS in Chinese Studies (Modern & Classical) and went on to do an MSc in Library Science, followed by a PhD in Information Science. Her research focuses on the information behaviour of media fans in online spaces. At SOAS Library she was Far Eastern cataloguer for 6 years before her current role and specializes in the cataloguing of Chinese language material.
Lyn Robinson is the Head of the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of London in the UK. She has a formal, academic background in science, computing, and information science. Robinson studied for her PhD at UCL SLAIS (now Dept. Information Studies), looking at scholarly communication within the discipline of toxicology. Robinson is interested in the documentation and record of humankind. Specifically, the impact of technology, economics, and socio-cultural behaviour on the processes of information communication, and the interactions between these processes.
