Jane Garner
Jane Garner is a Lecturer in the School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University. Garner received her PhD from RMIT University in 2017. She also holds a Bachelor of Business, Information and Library Management from RMIT University. Prior to starting at CSU, Jane worked in the Information Management team at RMIT University, teaching in their Master of Information Management program. Jane has also undertaken sessional roles in information studies schools at Monash University and CSU. Before commencing her teaching roles, Jane worked as an academic librarian at the University of Melbourne. Jane’s research focuses on the delivery of library and information services to undeserved and underprivileged communities. She is particularly interested in the role, and experience of using libraries in adult and juvenile prisons.
